The Thomas More University Saints softball program finally had the opportunity to honor the 2020 season senior class. On Sunday, October 4, the six seniors were honored prior to the annual TMU alumni game.
This was the first time these players had the chance to take their home field together since their junior year. The Saints were unable to play any home games because of the effects of COVID-19. They played 17 games in away tournaments in Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
Andrea Gahan, Sydney Turner, Kenzie Dickerson, Amanda Lloyd, and Kianah Towe took the field together on the alumni team this time. Felicia was unfortunately unable to make the game.
After the game, Coach Eagen catered to some of the seniors’ favorite foods. The current players decorated the field with posters, showing appreciation for their seniors. Fans were allowed at the ceremony and the alumni game.
Senior day successfully honored a fantastic group of players that have left a mark in Saints softball history.
