Saints for Life March For Life in a New Way

Updated: May 30, 2023

"Together we are still able to do better for those who are unable to be heard, even if we are all unable to come together this year for the 2021 annual march."
-Shelby Shelby, Vice President

Despite a world pandemic and many other conflicts, the March for Life continues to bring thousands together at local rallies all across the country. Uniting to respect the dignity towards the born and unborn as one. The 48th annual March for Life is taking place virtually for the first time ever. As a result, the Thomas More University, Saints for Life club is unable to take this trip to Washington D.C. this year.

This is not stopping them, as they stand voicing for the unborn and unheard. The club plans to take part in the Cincinnati Right to Life that is hosting a Mini March for Life. Bringing local communities together and allowing the annual peaceful protest to continue as it takes place right here at home.

"Choosing to stand for life shouldn't be controversial. This is the greatest human rights issue of our generation. 62 million lives have been lost since the passing of Roe v Wade in 1973." Says Grace Brogan, president of Saints for life club. "Although we were not able to show our support like normal in DC, this event and those throughout the country show that the pro-life movement is strong and that we will be the generation to stand for life and end abortion."
