Earlier this week, Campus Ministry hosted a new Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, Praise, and Worship event called Witness. It was held in the campus chapel.
"Witness is more than an event. It is an invitation to all people to come and sit before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament." Says Sophmore Olivia Staverman. "Witness serves as an opportunity for all who are broken to come and allow themselves to be healed through the mercy of God through the sacrament of confession. But above all else, Witness is a call to come and experience God's unfathomable love.
"Witness was a powerful night full of God's forgiveness through the sacrament of Confession and His mercy through the love shown to everyone present during the evening! I can't wait for the March and April Witness events where individuals will get the opportunity to grow and expand their experience from this weekend into a deeper relationship with God and be a "witness" to others for the love of Christ." Senior Said Katherine Walton.
With the success of February's launch night of Witness, campus ministry hopes to hold more of these types of events in the future.
