CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY – The Thomas More University Women’s Volleyball team is excelling on the court as the Saints pick up three straight wins; all at home.
They swept the in-state rival, Kentucky Wesleyan University (25-14, 25-13, 25-22), and Walsh University (25-18, 25-16, 25-21). The third team was Malone University where our ladies dominated with a score of three sets to one (15-25, 26-24, 25-21, 25-15).
They hope to continue this streak on the road. They will face Central State University out of Wilberforce, Ohio on Wednesday night.
Sophomore Defensive Specialist, Isabella Schultz, said, “Our mentality is that we are really focused and we are not trying to get ahead of ourselves… we take it one game at a time. These three wins give us a lot of confidence and shows the GMAC that we are ready to play. We aren’t going to be a team that’s going to roll over.”
This Volleyball team is confident that they will crush the upcoming competition. Catch them at their next home game against Cedarville University on Oct. 9.
