Covid-19 is still a big issue in sports, what safety the league will take?
Bowling will not compete at the collegiate level until after January 1, 2021. NAIA, USBC,and Mid-South Conference has implemented protocols to ensure the safety of the coaches and players.
How confident are you of the athletes remaining as safe as possible during the season?
I am extremely confident that the protocols will keep our athletes and coaches safe and healthy.
Will there be any changes to practices and competing at meets and competition?
Practice sessions and competition formats are being modified to minimize close contact and eliminate spectators in order to provide space for social distancing requirements.
What’s your outlook on the season?
I have a very positive outlook for our season. With the delay in our start date I am optimistic that the pandemic will be under control and our season will proceed as planned.
Are you prepared and ready for the competitions?
This pandemic has certainly presented some challenges to the preparedness of our team for the upcoming season. However, we are anxious to get the season started and look forward to a successful season.
